It is a beautiful
scenic drive to Bolinas and one that you want to allow
enough time for.
It will take you about one hour to get to Bolinas from
Hwy 101, in Marin County. Exit Hwy 101 at the STINSON
BEACH/MILL VALLEY exit. That leads you into TAM JUNCTION.
Turn left on Hwy 1 and follow the many twists and turns
to STINSON BEACH. Continue on past Stinson on Hwy 1 with
the lagoon on your left. At the end of the lagoon take
the first left. It is an unmarked turn so be ready. Then
drive about one hundred yards until you reach a "T"
in the road; turn left again onto OLEMA BOLINAS RD. There
is a yield sign, but no road sign. You will then be driving
on the other side of the lagoon until you get to another
"T" in the road. Turn left onto HORSESHOE HILL
RD. There is a plant nursery on the corner to your left
and further down the road will be a school on your right.
Keep going up a small hill to a stop sign. Continue straight
into Bolinas. Turn right on BRIGHTON AVENUE. BRIGHTON
AVENUE turns into BRIGHTON BEACH. I will meet you in the
small parking lot by the tennis court. Have a fun drive.
